Day 2: part 2

The second hour of the visit, I got to have a one on one with the social workers. She explained that it is a difficult job to have to deal with because of the children and how it is so much different to have to deal with these children because of their disabilities.

Day 2

Second meeting of my mentoring session. I'm really excited to get things going. Juliet, my mentor, is really nice and was showing me around for the first hour. She introduced me to 2 or 3 other social workers. They were pretty nice, and they seemed really into what they do, which is admirable. That first hour, all they did was go over paperwork and explain how they run things.
